Robert “Bob” Amico is currently serving as Deputy Director General for the Imperial Session 2017-2018 in Daytona Beach Florida.
Amico was born in Passaic New Jersey but moved to Orlando Florida at an early age. He became a Mason in 1984 and was raised to a Master Mason in 1985 at Eola Lodge #207 in Orlando, Florida. He is a 32 degree Scottish Rite Mason in the Valley of Orlando.
Amico became a member of the Bahia Shriners in Orlando, Florida in 1986 and he served as Potentate in 2009. He is an eight year member of the Board of Governors Shriners Hospitals for Children Tampa. Amico has served as President of the Bahia Drum and Bugle Corp in 1993 Treasurer in 1994 and Treasurer for the International Drum and Bugle Corp. He was the Bahia Shrine chairmen for the East West Game while it was held in Orlando, Florida. He is currently chairman of Bahia’s Leadership Search Committee. Amico is a member of Royal Order of Jesters Court 166 and Order of Quetzalcoatl Lagos de Orlando Teocalli No. 36.
Amico has retired from Publix Supermarkets and United Parcel Service and owns Central Florida Transcription and Data Service Inc. He is a member of The First Baptist Church of Orlando.
Amico has been married to his high school sweetheart Beverly for 47 years; they have two children Robert and Janeen and five grandchildren, Evan, Erik, Ella, Alex, and Jonah.
